My inspiration comes from teaching art in kindergarten, primary and secondary in alternative, mainstream, and international schools settings for over twelve years. Throughout this time, I noticed how little space was dedicated to wellness practices for both children and staff, despite their importance.

It was then that I trained as a children’s yoga teacher, discovering a deep passion for blending wellness with education. I began offering children’s yoga classes at school, family yoga on weekends, and free yoga and mindfulness sessions for children and teens in my community. I also led staff trainings on ‘Wellness in Education’ and provided online yoga and mindfulness classes for children during lockdowns.

Yoga has been a powerful tool in my own life, helping me manage stress and find balance amidst the demands of teaching. This inspired me to pursue my 200hr yoga teacher training for adults, alongside specialised training in mindfulness for children in education and yoga for children with autism and ADHD. These experiences deepened my passion for sharing practices that support both academic growth and emotional well-being for children and educators alike.

The positive feedback I received inspired me to create a creative yoga and mindfulness-based program designed to enrich the curriculum for toddlers, children, and teens, while supporting teachers with practical ways to integrate these practices into their classrooms.

I truly believe yoga offers lifelong skills—fostering resilience, self-awareness, empathy, and balance—that benefit all ages. When woven into education, it helps nurture confident, compassionate, and mindful communities, both in and beyond the classroom.

“Annie is just fabulously at one with the children, creating the right atmosphere and anticipating the children’s aspirations and needs so very naturally! My children whom are 3 and 4 absolutely LOVE attending Annie’s diverse yoga classes and speak about Annie often whilst practicing what they have learnt.” – Tyler, London

“Amazing yoga class for kids! I absolutely love taking my 3y old daughter to Annie’s class. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Annie is brillant, very patient, caring with such a good energy abt her. She manages to incorporate yoga and mindfullness in such a playful & fun way and also give great tools for us parents. Every week is different! And they often do crafts at the end. I hope to continue seeing her weekly!”- Leticia, London

“Annie was my son’s first yoga teacher in Bangkok and he and I absolutely adore her. Annie’s gentle energy, passion for yoga and love for children make her not only a great teacher but a beautiful being to be around. We love you, Annie! Continue to spread your light and yoga with the world.” -Karishma, Bangkok

“My daughter had Annie as her teacher for over 2 years in Bangkok and we can’t thank her enough for all the caring and thoughtful teaching provided to my daughter. Through her mindfulness and yoga teaching, it has greatly nurtured Richa to be able to better understand, control and properly express her feelings. Annie has shown to us that mindfulness has a great positive influence in children learning.”- Nun, Bangkok
